Health Screenings
- All VPK, Headstart , Kindergarten, 1st and 3rd grade students are screened for vision, hearing (and height/ weight in some grades). A waiver will be sent home early in the year. Return if you do not want your child screened.
- Any student who has a specialized learning plan ( 504, iep) will be screened at the start and when their are changes made to their plan.
- If you recieve a referral, follow the instructions and return it to the clinic.

Hygiene and Health
- Every year the 5th grade students are provided with instruction on health and hygiene. This consists of a video and question/ answer session.
- Students will be grouped by gender and have appropriate staff to assist with question/ answer session.
- A waiver will be sent home with a link for parents to watch the video at their leisure. You will return the waiver if you do not want your student to participate.
