Every member of the community is welcome to volunteer at our school.  There are a few basic requirements and things to know before you volunteer:

• Otis A. Mason Elementary School follows all Florida laws and SJCSD policies regarding school safety & security. There are NO exceptions. 
• All volunteers must have an approved background check with Raptor.  Please call district volunteer services to appeal a decision or further inquire regarding your backgraound check at 904-547-3945.
• Volunteers must have a valid photo ID to sign-in. Once in our system volunteers should wear their volunteer badge throughout the duration of their visit.
• Please arrange your volunteer activity before you arrive. Here is sign-up genius with available opportunities to volunteer. You may also arrange volunteering directly with a classroom teacher!
